murex front office support

First Derivative is expanding its Murex offerings in Switzerland.

• Monitor and support Murex Front Office processes, including trade capture, valuation, market data, risk, and end-of-day processing
• Act as the escalation point for traders, risk managers, and middle office on system issues, valuation discrepancies, and data questions
• Triage, investigate, and resolve incidents on the platform and its interfaces to upstream and downstream systems, including market data, risk, settlement, and accounting
• Own the front-office support queue end to end; coordinate L2/L3 incidents with the platform run team and software vendor, manage escalations, and uphold the SLA
• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and drive permanent fixes with the development team and vendor support
• Support end-of-day, month-end, and market close processes to consistently meet deadlines
• Maintain runbooks, escalation paths, and on-call procedures
• Support testing and operational readiness for platform upgrades, patches, and vendor releases

• 5+ Years of hands-on Murex MX.3 experience, with strong Front Office functional and production support expertise
• Proven production support experience with Murex MX.3 and deep Front Office knowledge across trade capture, valuation, market data, P&L, and risk processes
• Strong knowledge of the front-to-back trade lifecycle and Front Office processes
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Murex Datamart structures for data investigation and reporting
• Strong understanding of Murex architecture, including workflows, market data, interfaces/integration, Datamart, and batch processing
• Experience with Unix/Linux server environments and batch job monitoring
• Basic scripting skills in shell or Python for troubleshooting and automation
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management (ITIL or equivalent)
