• Own end-to-end mobile architecture and technical strategy across iOS for the first release and Android in a subsequent release
• Define engineering standards, design patterns, and architectural guidelines for the mobile team
• Design scalability, security, and integration approaches, including authentication, CMS, and personalization features
• Lead technical decision-making and conduct architecture reviews
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into actionable technical solutions
• Define technical roadmaps and align architecture decisions with business goals
• Evaluate and select tools, libraries, and frameworks to support long-term scalability
• Mentor engineers and encourage the adoption of engineering best practices and architectural standards
• Produce architecture diagrams, integration flows, and technical documentation
• Identify risks, dependencies, and technical debt, and drive mitigation strategies
• Support CI/CD strategy and release management for mobile applications

• 8+ Years of architecture or engineering experience in mobile applications
• Expertise in mobile architecture for enterprise-scale applications and experience with iOS-first delivery
• Proficiency in React Native, Expo, and TypeScript
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience designing secure authentication flows with Okta or similar identity providers
• Background in headless CMS integration, such as Contentstack, and content delivery architectures
• Experience architecting personalization engines and dynamic content strategies
• Understanding of iOS and Android platform differences, constraints, and native module integration
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and scalable backend architectures
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design for mobile release management
• Understanding of enterprise-level security, performance, scalability, and maintainability principles
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Architect, or Principal Engineer for mobile app initiatives, with strong mentorship and technical leadership capabilities
