Java developer in telco

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable, high-performance software solutions.

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices, REST APIs and event-driven solutions using Kafka.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure code quality, security, performance and maintainability.
• Implement automated tests and support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Apply DevOps practices and leverage AI-assisted coding tools to improve development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement across systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java 21 or 25.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices and software architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Maven, automated testing and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools, such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Strong knowledge of clean code, SOLID principles, code reviews and software quality practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments, with strong problem-solving skills and technical autonomy.

• Primarily office-based, with up to three remote working days per week.
