Java developer in GIS

• Developing applications in Java and Spring Boot in accordance with microservices architecture principles.
• Maintaining and configuring Apereo CAS as a central SSO login system.
• Integrating external systems with CAS using SAML, OAuth2, LDAP, and REST API.
• Participating in the integration and publication of spatial data through GeoServer.
• Creating and developing APIs for communication with mapping systems and spatial databases.
• Creating and optimizing database queries, including for PostGIS and Oracle Spatial.
• Collaborating with the frontend team and spatial data analysts.
• Analyzing requests and providing technical support in the areas of authorization and spatial data.
• Participating in project meetings using the Scrum methodology: daily, review, retrospective, and planning.
• Preparing technical documentation, including UML diagrams, CAS configuration, and OpenAPI documentation.
• Participating in code reviews and internal knowledge sharing.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Practical knowledge of Java 11+ and Spring Boot 2.x or 3.x.
• Knowledge of SSO protocols: SAML2, OAuth2, and OIDC.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL/PostGIS or Oracle databases.
• Ability to create REST APIs, model domains, and manage user sessions.
• Knowledge of design patterns, clean architecture principles, and DDD (Domain-Driven Design).
• Practical knowledge of GIT, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD tools, e.g. GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of the Linux/Unix environment at a developer level.
• Experience working with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
• Будет плюсом: Experience integrating and configuring Apereo CAS, including integration with LDAP, e.g. 389 Directory Server; Knowledge of Keycloak or other IAM systems; Experience with GeoServer, particularly configuring layers, WMS/WFS, styling, and frontend integration; Knowledge of spatial data topics, including bounding boxes, CRS, and GML, as well as SLD and QGIS tools; Experience working with PostgreSQL/PostGIS or Oracle Spatial in the context of spatial data; Knowledge of SOAP/WebService and XML Schema; Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals; Knowledge of application monitoring tools, e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK; Practical knowledge of the jOOQ and JasperReports libraries
