Golang engineer for betting platform

The team develops high-load, business-critical backend systems for the betting domain.

• Build and evolve scalable backend services in Go, focusing on performance, stability, and maintainability
• Contribute to technical decisions about application architecture, infrastructure, and the long-term evolution of backend systems
• Develop clean, well-structured, testable code and maintain strong documentation and engineering standards
• Participate in peer code reviews, provide technical feedback, and help maintain consistent development practices across the team
• Work with complex data flows and backend components, ensuring reliable processing and data integrity
• Collaborate with engineers throughout the development lifecycle, contributing to technical discussions, estimation, planning, and delivery in a Scrum environment
• Take ownership of assigned development activities and independently organize day-to-day work in line with broader team priorities

• 7+ Years of commercial software development experience, including 4+ recent years focused primarily on Go
• Proven experience building backend solutions for betting products; relevant industry experience is essential
• Advanced knowledge of Go internals, including concurrency, data structures, memory allocation, and garbage collection
• Strong database engineering skills, including extensive relational database experience and the ability to troubleshoot, tune, and improve complex SQL queries
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments, with practical Docker knowledge
• Production experience with Kafka and Kubernetes
• Quality-focused engineering approach, including designing testable code and maintaining reliable unit test coverage
• Intermediate English and Upper-Intermediate Russian
