Full-stack engineer for game production web services

CD PROJEKT RED creates story-driven RPGs. Its Asset Pipeline Web Services team develops web applications and backend services that support game production workflows across the studio, helping teams plan work, manage assets, review content, and collaborate.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Deliver features end to end, from data models and service architecture through React-based user interfaces
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions and improve system reliability, security, maintainability, and performance
• Design integrations between internal applications, production systems, and external services
• Participate in application deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a cloud environment
• Collaborate with product, UX, infrastructure, and game development teams to turn their workflow needs into technical solutions
• Take ownership of larger work areas and break them down into clear deliverables
• Gradually take on selected coordination responsibilities, helping organize the team’s day-to-day work, facilitate communication, and keep priorities and dependencies visible
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

• 5+ Years of professional experience
• Senior-level software engineering experience with deep expertise in Python and backend development
• Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, or comparable frameworks and libraries
• Experience designing maintainable APIs, data models, integrations, and service architectures
• Hands-on experience developing backend services with Node.js and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience developing frontend applications with React and TypeScript; deep UI specialization is not required, but the ability to deliver and maintain complete user-facing features is expected
• Good working knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
• Experience deploying, operating, or troubleshooting applications in a public cloud environment
• Understanding of containerization, CI/CD, application monitoring, and production support
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, secure API design, and general web application security
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including automated testing, code review, debugging, and maintainable design
• Strong ownership mindset and clear, respectful communication in an international, cross-functional environment
• Interest in gradually developing toward a Coordinator position, supported by strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Relocation to Warsaw is required
