Full stack developer in core banking reporting

The Junior Full Stack Developer supports core banking reporting, application development, platform integration, AI enablement and production support activities across the reporting technology estate. The role provides hands-on development experience across Python, Java, SAP BusinessObjects and AI technologies, contributing to the delivery of reporting solutions, intelligent automation, system integrations and enterprise applications within a complex financial services environment.

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack application components, services, and RESTful APIs using Python and Java.
• Develop, enhance, and schedule complex financial and operational reports utilizing SAP BusinessObjects and relational databases.
• Assist in building and integrating AI-enabled tools, machine learning pipelines, and automated processing workflows to optimize reporting processes.
• Implement robust data exchange and system integration pipelines connecting core banking platforms, data warehouses, and reporting tools.
• Participate in level-2/level-3 production support activities, analyzing incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing bug fixes.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code adhering to standard software engineering best practices, including unit and integration testing.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure high-performance reporting and data retrieval.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, business analysts, and senior engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver sprint objectives.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architectures, data flows, codebase changes, and operational runbooks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Hands-on foundational programming experience with Python and Java.
• Practical exposure to or working knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects (Web Intelligence, Universe Design) or equivalent enterprise BI tools.
• Solid understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) like Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, with strong SQL querying skills.
• Foundational knowledge or strong interest in AI/ML concepts, LLM integration, or workflow automation tooling.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and building or consuming RESTful APIs/web services.
• Familiarity with Git version control and standard CI/CD deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and trace data discrepancies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical peers and business stakeholders.
