Data engineer in manufacturing

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale Finance and Data & Analytics transformation within a global manufacturing environment. You'll help shape a modern data platform built on Microsoft Fabric while solving complex integration, data quality, and engineering challenges across a diverse technology landscape.

• Designing and developing scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse architecture
• Building and optimising data pipelines using SQL and T-SQL
• Implementing and supporting Medallion architecture patterns across the data platform
• Integrating data from multiple enterprise systems and legacy applications
• Ensuring data quality, reconciliation, governance, and platform reliability
• Troubleshooting production issues and driving operational excellence
• Contributing to DevOps maturity, deployment standards, and engineering best practices
• Collaborating with global stakeholders across Finance, Data, and Technology functions
• Supporting the ongoing evolution of a modern enterprise data platform

• Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Fabric in an enterprise environment
• Deep expertise in SQL and T-SQL development
• Proven experience designing and supporting Lakehouse architectures
• Strong understanding of Medallion architecture and modern data engineering principles
• Experience with enterprise-scale data integration and transformation
• Expertise in data quality, data reconciliation, and production support
• Experience operating within complex technology estates and multi-system environments
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and platform operational management
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills
