Talan delivers front-office platforms and business-critical applications for sales and trading within Global Markets environments.

Design, develop, and maintain front-office applications, components, and utilities
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Build and deliver high-performance, scalable applications
Develop RESTful APIs and modern UI applications using React
Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver value-driven solutions
Collaborate with production support teams to ensure smooth releases and system stability
Provide third-line support and assist with troubleshooting production incidents
Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Strong development experience in C# and React
Experience building web-based applications and RESTful APIs
Solid experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React
Strong understanding of application performance and optimisation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in agile, collaborative environments
Experience within investment banking or capital markets environments
Knowledge of front-office systems (FX, Rates, Credit, or derivatives)
Experience with multi-threaded or distributed systems
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity and deployment tools such as Ansible
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
