• Architect and implement robust, scalable backend systems that support millions of active users
• Ensure high availability and reliability through thoughtful system design
• Build and maintain services from initial model design through production support
• Contribute to prototyping, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
• Mentor peers on engineering best practices
• Decompose monolithic applications into microservices, manage large-scale data migrations, and optimize system performance
• Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing practices; identify and address performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with DevOps, product managers, and engineers on integrations and deliverables
• Align engineering solutions with business needs and operational goals

• 5+ Years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and the Spring framework ecosystem
• Experience with observability tools, including logging, monitoring, and tracing
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• Hands-on experience in domain modeling and REST API design
• Track record of delivering scalable and maintainable systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
