Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform that enables businesses to accept payments, grow revenue, and pursue new business opportunities. Its Sail user interface platform and design system provides design language, components, tools, and front-end foundations for product teams to create coherent, accessible, responsive, and high-quality experiences.

• Design and refine user interface components, patterns, and foundations for use across Stripe products;
• Create polished, coherent interfaces across interaction states, themes, and responsive layouts;
• Partner with front-end engineers to understand constraints and carry designs into production;
• Contribute to Figma libraries, prototypes, specifications, documentation, and examples;
• Gather input from product teams, share work, and iterate based on feedback.

• At least 2 years of experience designing digital products;
• A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design craft;
• Experience using or contributing to a design system or component library;
• Experience working with front-end engineers;
• Working understanding of components, states, and responsive behavior;
• Experience using artificial intelligence tools in day-to-day design work, with familiarity with large language models, agents, and reusable skills or workflows;
• Nice to have: Experience creating or maintaining user interface components or shared design libraries, working knowledge of HTML and CSS, experience using artificial intelligence and prototyping tools to build and evaluate interactive interfaces, experience designing native mobile interfaces for iOS or Android.

• The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €56,200 - €84,400. The range may change if hired in another location and will be narrowed during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and specific location;

• Remote employees are expected to regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office; office visits may be required for team or business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events;
• Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location.
