Product designer for apps

At Emlid, we make modern professional geodetic equipment for highly accurate measurements. We develop both hardware and software ourselves, and constantly communicate with our users to gather feedback that inspires us to enhance our products. Now we’re looking for a new Product Designer to join our team.

• Act as a user advocate within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate to find solutions that balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints;
• Conduct user interviews and competitor analysis, dive into users’ workflows and the technical details to find the best solutions for our products;
• Validate ideas with interactive prototypes yourself or in collaboration with developers, and present them to the team;
• Prepare detailed mockups, ensure usability through testing, and work closely with developers to bring solutions to release;
• Test products, gather user feedback, and use analytics to identify areas for improvement and communicate actionable insights to the team.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Designer or UI/UX Designer;
• Portfolio showcasing mobile and web apps;
• Experience designing technically complex products or a strong desire to grow in this field;
• Knowledge of mobile guidelines and web design principles;
• Proficiency with Figma;
• Experience using AI for fast prototyping;
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher.

• 20 days off per year, plus 5 public holidays per year.
