system analyst in payment processing

Acumatica develops cloud ERP solutions for small and midsized businesses. Its industry-specific business management software supports payment collection through credit cards, electronic bank transfers, POS terminals, and payment links, and integrates with external service providers.

• Analyze business scenarios and product requirements, and communicate with international partners and customers;
• Design new features and create functional specifications;
• Evaluate the backward compatibility of product changes and align requirements with stakeholders;
• Drive end-to-end feature implementation;
• Break down requirements into development tasks and coordinate implementation details;
• Collaborate with external providers, including payment processors and service providers;
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and technical writers;
• Validate implemented features against specifications and perform acceptance testing;
• Develop test plans and scenarios, including edge cases such as data migration, invalid data, and high load;
• Support maintenance activities, handle support requests, and verify bug fixes.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field;
• 5+ Years of experience in system analysis and writing functional specifications;
• 3+ Years of experience in payment processing and third-party integrations;
• Strong experience writing functional documentation in English;
• Experience working closely with developers and business users;
• Experience in acceptance testing and test scenario creation;
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to structure and communicate complex information clearly;
• Strong prioritization skills and a results-oriented mindset;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Fluent English;
• Nice to have: project management experience, ERP system implementation or support experience.
