SQL reporting specialist for investment management

The customer is one of the world's largest investment management companies, based in Southern California, managing close to $2 trillion in assets. The team develops and maintains a reporting tool based on SimCorp's Coric solution.

• Design and develop Coric reports and dashboards
• Provide operational support for existing reports and dashboards
• Participate in the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of dashboards and reports
• Perform data integration into the tool, as well as its maintenance and support
• Perform impact analysis and validate existing production reports and universes after application and database upgrades
• Implement industry BI standards and best practices
• Proactively identify problems, issues, and risks and provide solutions

• Experience in financial reporting, banking or financial services, and regulatory reporting
• SQL, data architecture, data visualization, and ETL skills
• Understanding of financial data, including fund and index returns, portfolio holdings and valuation, and asset classes such as equities, bonds, and derivatives
• Experience with Git repositories, preferably Bitbucket
• Experience creating highly interactive data visualization dashboards
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in business terms with business partners
