SME business analyst in banking

Bank of Georgia is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven SME Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining analytical dashboards, conducting in-depth data analysis, and delivering actionable insights to support business decision-making. • Reporting to the direct manager in accordance with the rules, standards, and procedures established in the company
• Independently executing high-value analytical tasks
• Creating, developing, and maintaining analytical dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and SQL
• Communicating with internal stakeholders to identify analytical needs and process their requirements
• Conducting a detailed walkthrough of the task with the business unit prior to commencement - defining the business problem, objective, scope, and expected outcome
• Documenting business requirements and tracking subsequent changes
• Performing in-depth analysis of business data, including complex datasets, and identifying key trends
• Sharing in-depth findings and data-driven recommendations with business units based on data analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Georgian (written and spoken)
• English at B1 level or above
• MS Office - above-average proficiency, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• SQL - above-average proficiency
• Power BI - above-average proficiency
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to understand business needs and frame them as analytical objectives
• Effective communication and data storytelling skills
• Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Self-management, prioritization, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Results-oriented mindset and ability to process large volumes of information
