Data analyst in financial projections

The corporate planning team, in collaboration with other areas of the bank and its subsidiaries, prepares income statement, balance sheet, and solvency projections for multiple scenarios and time horizons (for example: CaixaBank Group budgeting, Strategic Planning projections, and estimates of the impact of adverse scenarios, including regulatory uses (ICAAP, EBA Stress Test, …). The mission of the Models and Projection Solutions (MSP) team is to transform the team and streamline and systematize how data informs decisions through data science and new technology projects.

• Contribute to the transformation of the team by developing applications and promoting the adoption of new technologies available to the MSP team.
• Promote the use of data discovery tools by the Corporate Planning team.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the area's information structure.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a new global projection solution that will transform the current catalogue of non-integrated applications.
• Continuously evolve applications to improve their capabilities and maintain a strong appetite for innovation.
• Participate in projection exercises through contributions involving data and applications.

• Degree in a scientific field: Mathematics, Computer Science, engineering, etc.
• At least 3 years of experience in Data projects (ETLs, Data Modeling, Analytics, Visualization, ...).
• Advanced skills and experience with data tools: SQL, Python, Airflow, ... as well as collaborative code development (GIT).
• Ability to build relationships, work in a team, and share knowledge to help develop the team's skills, as well as initiative and a high degree of autonomy in carrying out assigned tasks.
