Data analyst consultant

As a Data Analyst Consultant at Orange Business, you will have the opportunity to use your analytical and technical skills in challenging projects for leading clients. You help organizations become data-driven by turning data into clear visualizations, clear dashboards and valuable insights that support decision-making.

• Understanding, managing and aligning client needs and expectations
• Designing BI solutions that support decision-making processes, including creating mock-ups, defining metrics and designing effective data visualizations and dashboards
• Translating client needs into clear business requirements for BI solutions such as analyses, interactive dashboards and reports
• Collecting, transforming, modelling and analysing data to generate actionable insights
• Evaluating and optimizing existing BI solutions to improve effectiveness and performance
• Applying Data Management best practices to promote data-driven working and the delivery of sustainable, effective solutions
• Facilitating workshops and presenting insights to diverse audiences with clarity and confidence
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering trust and understanding

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business-oriented and technically oriented stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to facilitate workshops and evaluate information objectively

• A team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and collaborating in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills and a talent for storytelling, fluent in Dutch and English
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Econometrics or a comparable field
• At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst or BI specialist, preferably in a consultancy context, with experience across different industries and domains
• Experience with data visualization, dashboarding, storytelling and reporting tools
• Thorough knowledge of at least one leading visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense)
• Excellent command of SQL
• Familiarity with dimensional modelling concepts (Kimball, Data Vault)
• Affinity with cloud platforms such as Azure and with working in Agile environments
