• Identify, frame and prioritise high-value data and AI opportunities with clients’ business teams
• Gather and document business requirements and map related business processes and data
• Define success measures and business value cases, ensuring prototypes address genuine business needs
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, bridging business stakeholders and forward-deployed engineers
• Conduct hands-on data analysis, including data profiling and creating simple views or visualisations to assess feasibility and potential value
• Shape and prioritise the prototype backlog with the Tech Lead
• Support build, pivot or stop decisions based on business value and technical feasibility
• Prepare requirements, process maps and data definitions for handover to Solution Engineering teams
• Support stakeholder communication, solution demonstrations and early adoption
• Apply industry knowledge, particularly in financial services, to account for business and regulatory realities

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and approximately four or more years of business analysis experience in technology, data or AI projects, or a master’s degree and approximately three years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping and translating business needs into technology delivery
• Ability to work confidently with business stakeholders and technical or data-focused teams
• Strong problem-framing skills and ability to turn vague needs into clearly defined, buildable problems
• Data literacy and practical experience analysing and validating data using SQL, Excel and Power BI
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for business and technical audiences
• Ability to make progress in fast-moving environments with incomplete or ambiguous requirements
• Working understanding of data, AI and generative AI concepts, including their capabilities and limitations
• Ability to use AI safely and effectively in everyday work
• Critical thinking, curiosity and openness to continuous development and new ways of working
