Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) is a leading insurance provider in the GCC. It offers insurance and non-insurance services through digital platforms such as qic.online and the QIC app, helping individuals and businesses manage their needs digitally.

• Build chatbots, RAG systems, and automated document processing pipelines;
• Implement OCR for insurance documents, damage assessment from photos, and identity verification;
• Develop transcription, voice analytics, and multilingual support solutions;
• Deploy and monitor AI models and integrate them with cloud AI services;
• Embed AI into business workflows, create AI APIs, and design user-friendly AI-powered experiences.

• Have 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on production systems;
• Demonstrate advanced Python skills and experience with FastAPI or Flask for API development;
• Have hands-on experience with OpenAI API, LangChain, and Hugging Face Transformers;
• Have Computer Vision expertise with OpenCV, PIL, YOLO, Detectron2, or similar tools;
• Use PyTorch or TensorFlow for fine-tuning models;
• Have experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP AI services;
• Use Docker and Kubernetes for AI application containerization and orchestration;
• Design effective prompts for LLMs;
• Adapt pre-trained models to business tasks through fine-tuning and custom LLM training;
• Work with vector databases and embeddings for RAG;
• Build Computer Vision pipelines from preprocessing to inference;
• Optimize models using quantization, pruning, and ONNX for faster inference;
• Build multimodal AI solutions combining text and images.

• Long-term service agreement contract with QIC with a 3-month probation period;
• Payment is made monthly in US dollars to a bank account using SWIFT;
• Work 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, in the GMT+3 timezone;
• Qatar Holiday Calendar with 20 vacation days and 10 sick days;
• Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise;
