EY provides professional services and supports banks, insurers, and asset managers in succeeding within a rapidly changing financial services environment. Its Financial Services area focuses on financial services and helps clients address risk management and regulatory challenges.

• Advise national and global banks, financial service providers, and asset managers on digitizing compliance functions;
• Evaluate automation and AI use cases and support requirements definition and prioritization decisions in areas including anti-money laundering, market abuse prevention, regulatory compliance, and Crypto Assets Compliance;
• Optimize existing and develop new compliance processes and IT applications;
• Provide functional support for the introduction, upgrade, or consolidation of compliance monitoring systems, including Transaction Monitoring, Trade Surveillance, Adverse Media, and Sanctions Screening;
• Prepare and descriptively analyze structured and unstructured data for use in machine-learning models and other algorithms supporting compliance functions;
• Develop Machine Learning, Data Science, and AI model prototypes, including suitable software, for handover to client IT teams;
• Independently take on sub-tasks in developing the service portfolio as part of the Financial Crime and Compliance Community within the EY Financial Services network and with external stakeholders such as FinTechs and RegTechs.

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Law, or a comparable field;
• Professional experience analyzing and designing functional requirements for compliance IT systems;
• Experience in data and process modeling;
• Experience with programming languages such as VBA, SQL, SAS, or R;
• Very good communication skills in German at least at C1 level;
• Very good communication skills in English;
• Agile, curious, ambitious, engaged, and team-oriented mindset;
• Nice to have: Experience with data visualization tools and/or Data Science tools such as Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Azure, or AWS.
