Business Analyst

• Contribute to the evolution of global Accounts Payable systems and processes;
• Analyse AP data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities;
• Assess existing KPIs, recommend enhancements or new KPIs, and implement dashboards;
• Partner cross-functionally to assess and recommend improvements to AP systems and tools;
• Support the exploration, selection, implementation, and testing of new AP systems, tools, or upgrades;
• Evaluate metrics and KPIs, investigate root causes of inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and recommend creative solutions;
• Propose enhancements to risk review processes and develop mitigation strategies for higher-risk events;
• Streamline data such as error codes and adapt workflows and systems to new requirements;
• Lead or participate in global AP-related projects;
• Represent AP on project teams, convey regional requirements, manage timelines, and oversee testing through completion;
• Document workflows and narratives, explain impacts to regional AP teams, gather questions, and incorporate feedback;
• Share key decisions, project status, issues, and next steps with impacted team members and leaders;
• Collaborate with AP, BP, FinTech, and other teams to address AP-related issues and co-create long-term solutions;
• Collaborate with AP Business Analysts and regional specialists to develop innovative solutions to process challenges;
• Support or lead ongoing projects related to global Accounts Payable processes;
• Provide backup support to AP leaders;
• Provide training and support on system functionalities and effective practices;
• Stay informed about AP-related practices and developments;
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• 8 Or more years of relevant accounts payable, risk management, and P2P experience;
• Advanced operational knowledge of accounts payable processes and workflows in a global context;
• Sound judgment and the ability to develop innovative and creative ideas;
• Strong ability to analyse complex data, identify trends and discrepancies, and develop process improvements;
• Proficiency with data visualisation tools and techniques;
• Experience contributing to multiple projects in a dynamic, global environment;
• Ability to prioritise effectively;
• Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams;
• Effective written and spoken communication skills;
• Ability to present reports and recommendations clearly;
• Ability to build and maintain cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders at different levels;
• Strong understanding of applicable global and regional regulatory and compliance rules;
• Nice to have: curiosity and motivation to transform operations through new systems, AI, technology, process automation, and improvement; familiarity with data analysis and business intelligence tools; experience mapping, analysing, and redesigning AP processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
